Early 17th-century oak stool table with elongated peg-shaped legs, connected by a moulded frieze at the top and stretchers below. The legs have tall feet and have never had toes beneath. The top is square edged and is secured by six pegs. The amazing feature of this piece is that one leg is different, since it is thicker and has a turned ring at the base which the others do not have. Circa 1620.
